Lew Gaiter is New Larimer County Commissioner

After four ballots on Thursday night, the Larimer County Republican Party chose Lew Gaiter III, an IT professional, to fill the seat on the Board of Commissioners vacated by Kathay Rennels. 

More than 250 central committee members participated in the process.

Rennels resigned effective December 31, 2009 to become director of economic development at Colorado State University.
